IFB was established as a joint venture with a world-leading enterprise in the food industry with over 60 years’ experience, specialising particularly in citrus and tropical fruit processing and the production of concentrate.
By applying the most modern technologies available and exploiting its lucrative trade agreements, IFB can offer its clients a full range of services, including storage and blending, customs clearance and door-to-door delivery of all our products and their constituent raw materials.
Our spacious -20° C cold room in Livorno, in part duty free and in part national, enables us to guarantee rapid, large-scale provisioning and logistics support, with payments deferrable until after VAT and customs clearance.
We operate frozen goods warehouses in both Italy and Holland, so as to be able to offer rapid and ever more wide-reaching international service, particularly for grapefruit, pineapple, orange and tropical fruit.
Our recently installed, state-of-the-art blending equipment is computer-controlled and completely automated, enabling us to fulfil virtually any order within 12 to 24 hours of its being placed. Fruit blends are delivered in either 25-tonne refrigerated tankers or 260-kg room-temperature or frozen drums. The entire system has been optimised to ensure substantial savings on handling and shipping from Livorno.
